The Dinex Group, the restaurant management company of Chef Daniel Boulud, is looking for Full time/Part-time Bar Captain. Please note, this is an hourly position which does not typically receive gratuities.
Bar Captain – Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of the bar and lead the bar team during service.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere.
- Prepare and oversee the quality and consistency of all beverages.
- Train, coach, and support bartenders and bar support staff.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering, receiving, and stock rotation.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, health and safety regulations, and liquor laws.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area at all times.
- Manage cash handling, POS transactions, and bar closing procedures.
- Assist with event setup and execution for banquet and private functions.
- Communicate effectively with managers and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand, walk and climb stairs for long periods of time
- Professional demeanor
- Understand and follow instructions given by managment

Salary : $30 - $40
