Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Teacher role based in Homestead, FL. The Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing lesson plans aligned with the organization's curriculum to foster the overall development of children. Daily tasks include delivering educational activities, supporting children’s cognitive and social progress, maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, and communicating effectively with families to support children's growth. This role also involves collaborating with team members and providing training to support children with individualized education plans (IEPs/IFSPs).
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and implementing age-appropriate educational and developmental activities.
- Strong knowledge of Education and Teaching practices for young children, particularly in Early Childhood Education.
- Effective Communication skills to interact with children, families, and team members.
- Experience in Training staff or parents in child development or related topics is preferred.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Understanding of child development best practices and experience working with children with IEPs/IFSPs is a plus.
