JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Shift Manager to join our team. The Shift Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the significance of this position, this position requires a 5-Stage hiring process. Not all stages occur in the same day, but will usually be spread out over the span of a week.
Stage 1: Phone Interview (15-30 minutes)
Stage 2: In-Person Interview (2-3 Hours)
Stage 3: Reference Verification & Background Check
Stage 4: In-Person Meeting with Owner (1-2 Hours)
Stage 5: Hiring / Onboarding Orientation
JOB DUTIES
- Manage day-to-day operations during assigned shifts
- Supervise team members and provide guidance as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and organization
- Train new employees on company policies and procedures
EXPECTATIONS
- Strong leadership abilities to effectively manage a team
- Experience in hospitality management or food service management preferred
- Proficiency in inventory control and ordering processes
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly in quick-service fast-food restaurants
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members efficiently
- Ability to accept feedback in a constructive manner
- Desire and willingness to continuously grow and learn
- Must be willing to learn all positions within the restaurant (Service Bar, Serving, Hosting, Cooking, Expo, etc)
- Available 5 days per week on a consistent basis, including most weekends
