The Recipe for Success: Role Summary
As Shipping Associate, you are responsible for preparing, processing and coordinating outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and timely delivery. This role involves working closely with customer service, warehouse staff and carriers to ensure efficient operations.
Ingredients: Key Responsibilities
- Process shipping documents and BOL’s, closing shipments
- Ensure pallets are properly labeled and staged for shipping
- Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers
- Track outbound shipments and resolving issues or delays
- Maintain accurate shipping records
- Audit outbound shipments for quality and accuracy
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with special projects as requested by management

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
- Advance computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork abilities, highly motivated
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods
