Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Tradesman/Carpenter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential and commercial construction sites. Your expertise will help bring construction plans to life, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced carpenters eager to contribute their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking
• Perform framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, siding, and roofing work with precision and attention to detail
• Operate woodworking machines safely to fabricate custom fixtures or structural components
• Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, moldings, and hardware while ensuring proper alignment and finish quality
• Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites
• Assist with restoration projects including water damage remediation, stucco application, plastering, rebar installation, and mold remediation

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong background in residential carpentry with expertise in framing, trim work, cabinetry, siding, roofing, and flooring installation
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for woodworking as well as woodworking machines
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols including power tool safety practices
• Familiarity with wood construction materials such as studs, plywood, drywall, stucco, and siding products
• Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of heavy lifting techniques and safety standards
• Ability to perform caulking, fabrication work, fixture installation, metal stud framing, water damage restoration tasks and other specialized carpentry functions
• Additional skills such as plastering or rebar installation are a plus but not mandatory
