Duties

Pay & Perks:
- $16/hour base pay
- Plus tips that average $10/hour (sometimes more!)

What You’ll Do:
- Open and/or close the café during your shifts
- Prepare all beverages and plate pastries
- Handle cash and POS transactions
- Ensure smooth operations while on duty
- Provide excellent customer service to our guests
- Support the team with daily café tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Dependable, punctual, and trustworthy (barista experience is a plus, but not required)
- Friendly and customer-focused
- Comfortable working independently at times
- Weekend availability is essential
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in the food industry with strong coffee knowledge and serving skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as CAKE POS, Toast POS, or Square POS, for efficient transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totaling.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
