What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser position at Le Bilboquet?
Upscale French Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced professional Busser. As part of our team, you will work with the floor team to assure guests dining in the restaurant have the best service possible. Cleaning tables, banquettes, and chairs, quickly removing dirty dishes, and serving drinks are all part of your daily job responsibilities. The Busser will help the wait staff and bartenders by setting tables, filling beverage glasses, and providing silverware. Bussers occasionally serve food and beverages to patrons at tables. The ideal busser candidate will be professional, friendly, and will strive to meet the highest standards of quality customer service.
Location: Le Bilboquet Sag Harbor 1 Long Wharf, Sag Harbor, NY 11963
Primary responsibilities:
- Removing used plates, glasses, cutlery, and napkins from tables after guests are done eating.
- Manicuring the table throughout the meal (wiping up spilled beverages and food, removing any used items from the table, etc.).
- Straightening out tablecloths and replacing stained ones.
- Replacing cutlery and glassware in anticipation of new diners.
- Refilling napkins, salt and pepper shakers, and any other depleted condiments on the dining table.
- Refilling drinking glasses with water.
- Run orders to tables if waitstaff are busy.
- Keep supplies replenished to minimize downtime.
- Handling cleaning of the dining area at the close of day.
