POSITION: Medical Assistant
DEPARTMENT: Back Office
REPORTS TO: Clinical Supervisor
Job Summary: Responsible for assisting the nurse injector with patient care including prepping room, supplies, rooming patient, taking before/after photos, charting, etc. Other responsibilities include patient education on treatment plans, making recommendations and recommending medical grade skincare.

PART TIME:
Mon: 8:30am to 5pm
Wed: 8:30am to 5pm
Fri: 8:30am to 3pm
2 Saturdays/month: 8:30am to 3pm

Mon: 8:30am to 5pm (Medical Assistant to Nurse Injector)
Tues: 10:30am to 8pm (Esthetician Services)
Wed: 8:30am to 5pm (Medical Assistant to Nurse Injector)
Thurs: 8:30am to 5pm (Esthetician Services)
Fri: 8:30am to 3pm (Medical Assistant to Nurse Injector)
2 Saturdays/month: 8:30am to 3pm (Medical Assistant to Nurse Injector)
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma; college degree preferred.
- Two years of experience in an aesthetic medical practice working as a medical assistant and/or esthetician.
- Esthetician license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:
1. Primary Duties
- Escorts patients to exam rooms in order of appointment times.
- Preps room and patient accordingly. Obtains medical history, captures before/after photos, documents throughout procedure, assists nurse injector as needed, etc.
- Assists nurse injector with aesthetic treatments such as Botox, Filler, Threads, PRP, etc.
- Educates patient on aesthetic treatments, creates and updates ongoing treatment plans, educates and recommends medical grade skincare.
- Straightens and cleans exam rooms after patient visits.
2. Secondary Duties
- Stocks all exam rooms.
- Performs all duties related to medical instrument cleaning and sterilization.
- Notifies clinical staff of supplies needed to avoid shortages.
- Performs other duties and tasks as needed.
