Position Summary
The Account Executive - Healthcare role is responsible for driving growth within LDI Medical's core markets, with a primary focus on hospitals, surgery centers, and deathcare. This individual will drive end-user product adoption by providing clinical support, building strong customer relationships, and closing business opportunities while collaborating with national and regional distribution partners to ensure seamless warehousing, fulfillment, and delivery.
In ancillary markets, including funeral homes, EMS agencies, and coroner/medical examiner facilities, the Account Executive - Healthcare role will identify, recruit, and support specialized reseller partners who lead direct sales efforts and manage customer relationships. The executive will provide training, education, and program support to enable reseller success while maintaining a primary focus on core-market growth.
This role serves as a potential pathway to sales leadership opportunities, including Regional Sales Management, with the ability to oversee additional Account Executives and/or independent sales representatives as the business expands.
Responsibilities
Sales & Account Management
- Drive product adoption and revenue growth by directly engaging end users in hospitals and surgery centers.
- Conduct in-person visits, product presentations, training sessions, and clinical support activities to build trusted customer relationships.
- Close business directly with end users while coordinating with distributors for warehousing and delivery.
- Maintain an accurate and active sales pipeline in Odoo CRM, ensuring all customer interactions and sales activities are documented.
- Establish and maintain a strong presence within assigned accounts through regular contact, follow-up, and relationship management.
- Introduce and educate customers on new products, providing information on performance, testing, specifications, and clinical applications.
- Collaborate with distributors and resellers to maximize territory performance and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support order fulfillment, resolve customer issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Consistently meet or exceed regional revenue and growth objectives.
Reseller & Territory Development
- Identify, recruit, and develop niche reseller partnerships within ancillary markets, including funeral homes, EMS agencies, and coroner/medical examiner facilities.
- Provide reseller training, education, and sales enablement support to drive adoption and market growth.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and follow up on generated leads to convert opportunities into revenue.
- Share market feedback, competitive intelligence, and customer insights with leadership to support business strategy.
Industry Representation
- Represent LDI Medical at trade shows, conferences, customer events, and industry meetings.
- Serve as a knowledgeable and professional ambassador for the company and its product portfolio.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of medical device or healthcare sales experience.
- Proven ability to sell directly to end users within clinical environments.
- Experience working with distributors to support warehousing, fulfillment, and delivery.
- Experience partnering with resellers or channel partners to expand market reach.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%).
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Odoo CRM.
- Professional demeanor and ability to operate effectively within regulated healthcare environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling to hospitals, surgery centers, or other clinical settings.
- Established network of healthcare contacts within target markets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Understanding of healthcare procurement processes, GPO/IDN structures, and distributor agreements.
- Experience participating in trade shows, conferences, or other industry events.
Compensation:
· $70,000–$90,000 base salary plus commission
Current Benefits Package:
1. Long Term Disability Insurance after (30) days of employment. LDI will cover 100% of the premium costs related to our company sponsored LTD insurance policy. Summary plan details will be provided to you.
2. Health & Prescription Drug, Vision and Dental Insurance after (30) days of employment. LDI will cover 75% medical insurance expense for individuals and dependents. Vision insurance is 100% employer paid. Dental insurance is paid fully by the employee.
3. You will be eligible for LDI’s incentive program beginning in 2026. Typically, bonuses range from 3%-10% of an employee’s annual salary. Bonus amounts are a factor of both company sales and margin.
4. 401(k) with company match. You will be eligible to take part in LDI’s 401(k) program after (90) days of employment. LDI provides a Company match as follows: 100% match on the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions. Summary plan details will be provided to you.
5. You will receive two (2) weeks of vacation annually. LDI also pays eligible employees for eleven (11) holiday days per year.
