We are looking for a dedicated part-time Laborer to join our team!
This position is located at the Warehouse in the Fiscal Department at Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville, Louisiana and is responsible for making deliveries from the warehouse on a routine basis.

Job Duties and Other Information
JOB DUTIES:
- The incumbent of this position is responsible for assisting with distribution of supplies and equipment in the Warehouse/Property Control Department. The Warehouse system includes the storeroom and the supply room – all equipment and supplies for the computerized perpetual inventory system.
- Verifies the accuracy of items received against purchase order, signing of receipt document and forwarding receipt for posting to LaGov.
- Assists in filling all requisitions received from various departments on the grounds of the hospital.
- Assists in performing a complete physical inventory of all items in the Warehouse at the end of the fiscal year.
- Assists in moving equipment from one location to another while assuring that all property tag numbers, signatures, and location codes are correct and posted to work orders for posting to the inventory control program.
- Pick up mail from post office, sort and deliver to offices on grounds of hospital when Mail room Clerk is not available to perform stated duty. Pick up mail from offices, add postage, and deliver to the post office.
- Assists in keeping a clean and orderly storage and work area in the warehouse. Willingly accepts and performs additional job assignment as indicated
Position Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Position will be filled as a part-time (WAE) position, and work hours are not to exceed 1245 hours within a 12 month period.
Compensation: This position has a minimum compensation of $856.00 bi-weekly. Salary negotiable based on experience.
