Minimum Qualifications
Seven years of social services experience; OR
Six years of full-time experience in any field plus four years of social services experience; OR
A bachelor's degree plus four years of social services experience; OR
An advanced degree plus three years of social services experience.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Directs and oversees parish office operations by establishing procedures, setting priorities, and monitoring workflow to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Medicaid services.
Develops and enforces performance and production standards, evaluates staff and unit outcomes, and implements improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, agency policies, and service deadlines, including application processing and eligibility determinations.
Supervises, trains, and evaluates staff, including conducting performance reviews, identifying development needs, and coordinating ongoing training and professional growth.
Manages staffing functions such as recruitment, selection, scheduling, and allocation of personnel in accordance with Civil Service Rules and applicable laws.
Oversees administrative operations including budget planning, expenditure analysis, equipment functionality, and support services necessary for effective office performance.
Builds and maintains relationships with internal teams, community partners, and external agencies while promoting outreach efforts and ensuring responsive, client-focused service delivery.
