How You’ll Contribute
- Provide guidance and direction to less-experienced team members. Use leadership skills to lead others and effectively handle multiple tasks at the same time in support of the supervisor and in lieu of the supervisor.
- Follow all safety, environmental and departmental policies and procedures.
- Operate and maintains equipment such as bucket trucks, boom trucks, winch trucks, etc., used in performing aerial work.
- Perform live-line maintenance with hot-sticks on energized transmission lines.
- Climb wood and steel transmission structures to extreme heights using proper safety equipment.
- Communicate with management, customer and landowners through both verbal and written methods.
- Three or more years of experience in transmission and/or distribution line construction or maintenance work or related field involving work at heights or relevant experience.
- Class A Texas commercial driver's license
