Reading and/or Mathematics Tutor
We're looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to support students in grades 3-8 with their reading and/or mathematics skills. You'll work with small groups of students in either a push-in (in-classroom) or pull-out (separate setting) model, helping them with work completion and content mastery using a provided curriculum.
Responsibilities

Provide targeted academic support to students in grades 3-8 in English/Reading/ELA, Literacy, and/or Mathematics.

Work with small groups of students in push-in or pull-out settings.

Support students in completing assignments and mastering content as outlined by a designed curriculum.

Collaborate effectively with teachers and other school staff.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.

A foundational understanding of the content area is necessary to effectively tutor students.

Retired teachers are highly encouraged to apply!

Training will be provided.

Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.

Must be able to pass a background screen and/or fingerprinting.
Work Hours
This is a part-time position, approximately 21-35 hours per week.
Compensation

Bachelor's Degree: $40 per hour

Less than a Bachelor's Degree: $20 per hour
