The Manufacturing Maintenance Intern will work alongside experienced maintenance technicians and engineering staff to support facility and equipment reliability. This internship provides hands-on exposure to maintenance practices while rotating through multiple departments to understand machinery, processes, and operational needs. The goal is to build a well-rounded foundation in maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE
Durham, NC
Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- KEY Assist maintenance personnel with daily repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of manufacturing equipment
- Support scheduled maintenance activities, including inspections, lubrication, and part replacements
- Observe and participate in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Learn proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Assist in documenting maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment uptime and efficiency
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safe operations
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a technical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial program (or equivalent experience)
- Strong interest in manufacturing and equipment maintenance
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow safety protocols and work in a team-oriented environment
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
