What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reclamation Supintendent position at LCI-Lineberger?
Are you the kind of superintendent who can take a disturbed jobsite and turn it into a clean, compliant, finished product? Prove it.
We are not looking for someone to simply “close out” a project. We are looking for a field leader who owns final grading, slope work, permanent stabilization, punch-list completion, and site readiness from the last load of dirt to final acceptance. You know how to coordinate crews, subcontractors, and equipment to leave a job better than you found it.
Our standard is simple: finish strong, finish safely, and finish right. In South Carolina heavy highway construction, that means reclaiming disturbed areas, maintaining erosion and sediment controls, managing stormwater best practices, and delivering a site that meets project requirements—not excuses. If you are comfortable with “close enough,” do not apply.
What We Demand:
- Finish-Work Excellence: You understand final grading, ditch shaping, shoulder tie-ins, slope dressing, topsoil placement, seeding, matting, and permanent stabilization—and you know the difference between work that passes and work that truly looks complete.
- Compliance Ownership: You take environmental responsibilities seriously. You stay ahead of erosion control, sediment containment, and stormwater requirements, and you keep the site inspection-ready at all times.
- Field Leadership: You lead reclamation crews with urgency and accountability. You coordinate labor, trucking, subcontractors, and equipment so the work flows without downtime or confusion.
- Heavy Highway Knowledge: You know how reclamation fits into roadway construction—grading, drainage, utilities, structures, and paving—and you can work effectively with project management, foremen, inspectors, and owners.
- Problem-Solving Under Pressure: You anticipate washouts, access issues, punch-list surprises, and schedule changes before they become excuses. When conditions change, you adjust and keep moving.
What You Get:
- Serious Responsibility: You will own the final impression of major highway and sitework projects across South Carolina. Your work will be visible, measurable, and respected.
- Strong Support: We back our superintendents with the equipment, manpower, and operational support needed to execute at a high level.
- Performance-Based Opportunity: We reward people who deliver results, solve problems, and build crews that perform.
- A Team That Cares About the End Product: You will work with people who understand that reclamation is not an afterthought—it is part of the standard.
The Bottom Line:
We are building projects the right way from first clearing to final stabilization. If you are a reclamation leader who takes pride in quality, compliance, safety, and leaving a site truly finished, we want to talk. If you need constant oversight or think cleanup is someone else’s job, keep scrolling.
