The primary function of this position is to assist the site Foreman in completing their assigned task by providing manual labor as required. Works in a manner to achieve the company goal; One Team, One Mission: Safety, Quality, Production.
Requirements: Must have experience in construction, preferably roadways, utilities and site preparation.
Prior experience with a Lute Rake used for Asphalt Paving is an absolute requirement.
- Description of Tasks: The following is an abbreviated list of tasks:
- Assists on all types of construction jobs as needed
- Clear and prepare highway work zones
- Dig trenches
- Install sewer, water, and storm drain pipes
- Shovel asphalt, dirt, stone, etc.
- Operate jackhammers, earth tampers, etc.
- Work safely, wear PPE and notify supervisor of any potentially unsafe situations
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area
- Remain productive for the entire work day
- Maintain personal appearance in accordance with company policy
- Show a willingness to learn job site goals and company-wide goals
- Perform any other special projects as needed
