Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics with vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Prepare workstations by organizing tools, parts, and equipment for daily operations
- Perform basic automotive tire changes and assist with wheel alignments
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to support mechanical systems repair
- Support vehicle cleaning, detailing, and auto body repair tasks as needed
- Lift heavy components safely to aid in repairs or restorations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Skills
- Class A CDL Preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with automotive systems
- Experience with automotive tire change procedures and vehicle maintenance basics
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for mechanical work
- Understanding of automotive electrical systems and auto body repair processes
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Prior mechanic experience or auto restoration knowledge is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and willingness to learn new skills
