Position Summary
We are seeking a Chinese-speaking Senior Construction Accountant to support our growing U.S. operations in cleanroom and technical construction projects. This role is critical in establishing and managing accurate financial processes across multiple subsidiaries and projects, with a strong focus on job costing, Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting, and project financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
Project & Job Cost Accounting
- Manage and maintain job cost tracking across multiple construction projects
- Monitor project budgets vs. actual costs and identify variances
- Support accurate cost allocation and financial reporting by project
WIP & Revenue Recognition
- Prepare and maintain Work-in-Progress (WIP) schedules
- Support percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
- Partner with leadership on project financial forecasting
Project Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers to track financial performance
- Support AIA/progress billing and retainage tracking
- Provide financial insights to improve project outcomes
General Accounting & Process Improvement
- Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Help establish scalable systems to support company growth
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Equivalent practical experience in construction accounting will be considered
- Minimum 5 years of construction accounting experience
Technical & Industry Skills
- Strong experience with:
- Job costing
- WIP reporting
- Budget vs. actual analysis
- AIA/progress billing and retainage
- Experience supporting multi-state construction projects
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300, Procore)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles
Preferred
- CPA or CPA-track preferred
Work Authorization
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
