The Director of Information Technology promotes the mission and core values of LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community. Challenging growth position within a rapidly expanding leader in the senior housing industry. The right candidate will provide leadership, strategy and execution overseeing LCB’s information technology systems and processes. They will have experience with multi-site IT, managing multiple vendors (MSP, telecom, ISP) and the ability to interface strategically with senior management while successfully communicating to the greater organization!

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Enterprise infrastructure; cybersecurity principles; enterprise applications; data management, backup/disaster recovery, and business continuity planning; IT service management frameworks and project management methodologies. Ability to follow and leverage emerging technology trends relevant to the business (esp. artificial intelligence planning, solutions and agent creation). Demonstrated depth in Microsoft 365/ Entra, networking, and telecommunications, plus proven vendor and MSP management. Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOX) and identity/access management. Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technology into operational and business outcomes. Preferred: Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environments. Familiarity with Yardi, Paycom, and dining/EHR platforms. Relevant certifications (ITIL, PMP, CISSP/CISM, Microsoft) is plus.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5-7 years working in and overseeing multi-site IT with growth into management roles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential duties and responsibilities described below are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the basic functions of this position. 1. Own the multi-year technology roadmap and the annual IT operating and capital budgets; present at capital reviews.

2. Collaborate with vendors to set enterprise technology standards, policies, and architecture across all communities and corporate functions.

3. Drive multi-site standardization initiatives (network, endpoints, telecom, resident-facing systems) for consistency, efficiency, and cost control.

4. Serve as the senior escalation authority for major incidents and outages, coordinating leadership communication and resolution.

5. Own the outsourced MSP relationship (help desk, user provisioning, hardware deployment, monitoring); define and enforce SLAs, review performance, and control spend.

6. Manage the full technology vendor portfolio — telecom carriers, ISPs, hardware, software, and security

providers.

7. Lead contract negotiation, renewals, and license management; maintain a renewals calendar to eliminate lapses and duplicate billing.

8. Manage vendors overseeing network, wireless, servers, endpoints, and cloud services (Microsoft 365).

9. Work with vendors to standardize switching and Wi-Fi; own the device lifecycle — procurement, imaging, deployment, refresh, and Windows updates/releases.

10. Ensure vendors performing proactive monitoring, patching, maintenance, and asset inventory across all sites.

11. Establish and uphold enterprise data storage standards.

12. Own voice and data services across communities, including coax-to-fiber transitions, and VoIP/PBX modernization.

13. Maintain, with vendors, a community-by-community telecom inventory (carrier, circuit, provider, migration status, and redundancy).

14. Own the cybersecurity program: multi-factor authentication, Microsoft Entra identity, Zero Trust principles, endpoint protection, and email security.

15. Support audit and governance requirements (e.g. SOX) — Enterprise platform user-access reviews, change monitoring, and evidence collection.

16. Maintain HIPAA-aligned data protection, security awareness, and incident-response readiness.

17. Oversee (with vendors) support and integrations around core business platforms — EHR, HR, CRM, date analytics, dining systems, and resident-service applications.

18. Lead application deployments, system integrations, user provisioning, and coordination of end-user training and go-lives.

19. Design and maintain failover and redundancy for connectivity and critical systems across the portfolio.

20. Own backup, disaster-recovery, and continuity planning; test recovery procedures on a defined cadence.

21. Document runbooks and standard procedures to reduce single-person and single-vendor dependency and preserve institutional knowledge.

Salary : $165,000 - $180,000
