Essential Functions and Duties:

• Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews while promoting a safe, productive, and positive work environment
• Plan daily operations by coordinating manpower, equipment, materials, trucking, and project schedules
• Oversee paving activities to ensure quality workmanship, efficiency, and compliance with project specifications
• Operate paving equipment as needed and resolve field challenges to keep projects on schedule
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, customers, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout project execution
• Complete project documentation, conduct safety meetings and equipment inspections, and train and mentor crew members

Qualifications:

• 5 years of asphalt paving experience, including leadership as a Foreman, Lead Operator, or Crew Leader
• Strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and municipal paving operations, including blueprint reading and quality control
• Experience operating asphalt paving equipment and heavy machinery in a fast-paced construction environment
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to motivate and manage crews
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work in varying outdoor conditions
• CDL and industry certifications (OSHA, Flagger, CPR/First Aid) preferred, along with experience in project scheduling, job costing, and production tracking
