Pay: Starting at $23.00-$28.00 per hour during the training period, plus incentive compensation. Compensation increases as employees demonstrate readiness, take on additional responsibilities, and transition into outside sales.

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking someone who wants to build a long-term career in outside sales serving the food, dairy, beverage, and industrial industries. Rather than placing new salespeople directly into customer accounts, we believe the best way to learn our business is by working alongside our warehouse and delivery teams. We don't expect new salespeople to succeed by memorizing a catalog—we believe they succeed by understanding our products, our customers, and our business firsthand

During the training period, your time will be spent making local deliveries for our outside sales team and assisting with warehouse operations. This hands-on experience provides the product knowledge, customer familiarity, and operational understanding needed to succeed in outside sales. This hands-on experience allows you to learn our products, understand our customers' operations, become familiar with our inventory, and build relationships with many of the facilities you will eventually support as an Outside Sales Representative.

As your product knowledge, customer relationships, and confidence grow, you will gradually be introduced to customer accounts and take on increasing sales responsibilities. The pace of this transition is based on your performance, initiative, and readiness. Our goal is to develop knowledgeable sales professionals who understand our customers and products before taking ownership of customer accounts

This opportunity is especially well suited for candidates with experience in dairy processing, plant maintenance, purchasing, production, sanitation, or industrial operations who are looking to transition into outside sales. We also welcome experienced outside sales professionals who are interested in serving these industries. Previous industry sales experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn the business from the ground up and build a long-term career with our company.

Responsibilities

  • Learn our product lines and customer applications
  • Ride along with experienced sales representatives
  • Assist with customer account development
  • Build relationships with customers during deliveries and site visits
  • Gradually assume responsibility for customer accounts as experience and product knowledge grow
  • Make local deliveries using company cargo vans and flatbed trucks (no CDL required)
  • Deliver products safely, accurately, and professionally to customer facilities
  • Learn customer locations, contacts, and delivery procedures
  • Pull, stage, and verify customer orders
  • Load and unload products safely and accurately
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse operations
  • Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers

Qualifications

  • Clean driving record required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Comfortable interacting with customers and coworkers, and representing the company professionally
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay of $23.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • During the training period, employees are eligible for incentive compensation equal to 1% of the gross profit from orders they personally deliver.
