Retail Store Associate

Now hiring for all shifts (closing, opening, midday)

We are looking for reliable full-time team members (part time considered if requested days/hours meet our business needs) to provide excellent customer service and assist with daily operations of our stores. Candidates with strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to take direction as well as think independently will stand out. This is a fast-paced environment so you must be able to multi-task and work quickly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Process freight (check in, price, and display in store)
• Ring up sales on a Point of Sale system (scanner, card reader, receipt printer and label printer attached to POS)
• Answer customer questions about specific products
• Coordinate and communicate with other team members to provide excellent customer service and ensure workload is evenly balanced (especially during peak times)
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays and evenings
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to provide professional references
• Must have or be willing to acquire a cell phone to participate in group texts (our main mode of communication with employees)
• Must be willing and able to perform some tasks without direct supervision
• Must be able to relocate or commute within a reasonable distance
• Must be able to do basic math and count back change
• Must be reliable (show up on time for scheduled shifts & work entire shift)
• Previous experience with POS and counting back change preferred
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work in an environment that is fast-paced and often noisy

Pay: From $17.13 per hour
