Duties
- Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS system oversight, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Oversee inventory control processes such as stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory management to maximize sales opportunities.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to promote product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
- Utilize management skills to oversee scheduling, budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and operational management tasks efficiently.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven experience in retail store management or assistant manager roles.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Skilled in negotiation, sales management, and developing effective team strategies.
- Proficient in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations.
- Experience with employee recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and supervising retail sales teams.
- Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques including merchandising, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
- Capable of managing operational tasks such as purchasing, inventory control, stock stocking, and store merchandising.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with wireless sales products is a plus; experience in retail math and budgeting is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to lead shift management activities while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
