Cleaner / Custodian – Residential Apartment Buildings

LBC Boston is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner/Custodian to maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of residential apartment buildings in the Brighton and Quincy areas.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, elevators, laundry rooms, fitness rooms, and leasing offices.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect common areas.
• Clean windows, glass doors, mirrors, and other surfaces.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and maintain dumpster areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms in common areas.
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to management.
• Assist with apartment turnover cleaning as needed.
• Perform seasonal duties, including light snow removal from entrances and walkways when required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide courteous service to residents.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or residential cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, including walking, bending, lifting, and climbing stairs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
