The Breakfast Hostperson provides prompt, friendly, and courteous service while maintaining a clean, welcoming, and guest-ready breakfast area. This position helps ensure every guest enjoys a positive breakfast experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain the breakfast/dining area and supplies in a guest-ready condition.
- Provide friendly, professional service and assist guests with food, beverage, and hotel-related questions.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverage selections, hotel services, and brand standards.
- Monitor food and supplies and assist with food preparation and storage as needed.
- Clean and restock the breakfast area at the end of each shift.
- Maintain required safety, sanitation, security, and emergency procedures.
- Complete required brand documentation.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and work effectively as part of the hotel team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous food and beverage experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handling certification preferred.
- Friendly, service-focused, dependable, and able to multitask.
- Strong communication and guest service skills.
- Must meet company security clearance requirements.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, bend, stretch, and reach.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 60 lbs. and lift/carry up to 30 lbs. unassisted.
- This is an on-site hotel position.
- Must have scheduling flexibility, including weekends and holidays.
