Job Overview

- Salary/Pay Rate: $80,000 - $120,000 per year plus Performance Bonus.

The Opportunity
You will play a pivotal role in our Project Management division, leveraging your industry expertise to secure high-value commercial glazing contracts. This position offers a clear trajectory to grow into a Division Manager role, allowing you to shape the company’s bidding strategy and lead a team of professionals.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Execute precise takeoffs for storefront, curtainwall, and specialty glass systems using Bluebeam or similar digital tools.
- Formulate competitive bid proposals by interpreting complex architectural drawings and project specifications.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with General Contractors to identify new project opportunities and secure awards.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure material pricing aligns with project budgets and profit goals.
- Evaluate project risk factors and scope gaps to protect company margins during the preconstruction phase.
- Track bid results and refine estimating workflows to improve the company’s overall project hit rate.
- Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term growth strategies for the commercial glass division.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in commercial glass and glazing estimating.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Proven proficiency in reading architectural plans and managing bid documents.
- Strong computer literacy with experience in estimating software and digital communication tools.
- Demonstrated history of building and maintaining professional relationships within the construction industry.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Established network of General Contractor contacts in the commercial construction market.
- Advanced knowledge of curtainwall, window systems, and interior glass applications.
- Experience managing a pipeline of bids and coordinating with field operations for project handoffs.
