Contract Instructor Pilot

LB&B Associates Inc. is seeking a qualified part-time on call Contract Instructor Pilot for the P-38Weapon System training at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, Florida.

A P-8 CIP must be or have been a P-8 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) qualified Pilot or have been a simulator Pilot instructor within the preceding five (5) years. A CIP must have a minimum of one fleet tour in the P-8 and minimum of one tour as an FRS Instructor Pilot. Deviations from the listed qualifications may be waived on a case by case basis by the VP-30 Commanding Officer. A CIP shall have a minimum security clearance level of Secret.

Certifications. A CIP must successfully complete the P-8 Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) open-book and closed-book exams as well as a simulator procedural evaluation and must annually renew and maintain qualifications with the FRS. The minimum test and procedural evaluation scores will be as established by the FRS. The FRS Fleet NATOPS department will administer the procedural evaluation and the open-book and closed-book exams. The CIP must demonstrate an understanding of the mission, aircraft operating systems and normal / emergency crew procedures required in the execution of the P-8 aircraft.
