What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operating Engineer position at LB&B Associates?
LB&B Associates Inc. is currently seeking an Engineer to oversee its contract to provide operations and mechanical maintenance services located at the U.S. Census Headquarters, Hillcrest Heights, MD.
This is a full time union position. Hourly Pay Rate: $49.81 per hour. Working Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday / 7:00am-3:00pm
- Qualified candidates should possess and be capable of maintaining, a DC 3rd or MD 1st Stationary Engineer License.
- Must have a minimum of 6 years journeyperson level experience as a Stationary Engineer.
- Must have prior experience and working knowledge of Central Plant Equipment (chillers, boilers, thermal storage, pumps, heat exchangers), HVAC Systems, Building Automation Systems, Life Safety Systems, Utility Services, Electrical Power Distribution and Plumbing/Facility Maintenance.
Education: High School Diploma / G.E.D equivalent required.
