Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Perform heavy frame repairs and structural straightening on damaged vehicles.
- Measure and align vehicle frames using computerized frame equipment.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels and structural components.
- Conduct welding, cutting, and metal fabrication as needed.
- Inspect vehicles to determine repair requirements and estimate labor needs.
- Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with estimators, painters, and other technicians to complete repairs on schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of auto body repair experience.
- Proven experience with heavy frame repair and collision reconstruction.
- Knowledge of frame machines, measuring systems, and welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and specifications.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- I-CAR or ASE certifications are a plus.
