About Us

Lube X-press is a dynamic, purpose-driven automotive service company based in El Paso, TX, with a strong track record and 13 well-established retail service units. As we look to expand to 50 locations within the next 3 years, including the management of a newly devised franchise program, we are seeking a forward-thinking and strategic Vice President of Operations. This key leadership position will play an instrumental role in driving operational excellence, scaling our business, and ensuring seamless execution of our ambitious growth plans, which may also include acquisitions.

The Role

As Vice President of Operations, you will be both the architect and the driver of our field operations strategy, with full responsibility for the system’s profit and loss results. You will oversee daily performance while developing scalable systems, nurturing team growth, and cultivating a culture centered on servant leadership. Reporting directly to the Founder, you will collaborate closely with field leaders, training, HR, marketing, accounting, project management, and future franchise partners to ensure seamless execution and drive the business to the next level.

What You’ll Do

• Drive business performance by owning P&L management and controlling key KPIs tied to AUV, EBITDA, customer satisfaction, and operational consistency

 • Lead operations across all existing and future company-owned locations, ensuring scalable and efficient execution

 • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of unit general managers and field support leaders to achieve business objectives

 • Design and implement comprehensive SOPs, reporting systems, staffing models, and training frameworks to enhance operational effectiveness

 • Foster cross-functional collaboration with HR, training, marketing, and development teams to ensure alignment with company goals and culture

 • Oversee the successful launch of new units, ensuring strong post-launch performance and operational stability

 • Develop franchise-ready playbooks, onboarding programs, and operational templates to support franchise growth

 • Champion a servant leadership culture, driving accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization

What We’re Looking For

• Strong P&L management skills with a proven track record of improving unit economics across a multi-location, retail service business

 • Expertise in enhancing the customer journey to drive satisfaction and retention

 • Experience in implementing and optimizing operational technology systems across multiple locations

 • 7 years of multi-unit operations leadership, with experience overseeing 25 units (automotive, QSR, or franchising experience preferred)

 • Proven ability to build and scale robust operational infrastructures, both for existing stores and new market entry

 • Expertise in developing and managing vendor partnerships to optimize the supply chain and enhance service delivery

 • Passion for developing people and creating sustainable, high-performing systems

Compensation & Perks
