Agile Business Analyst

Lazlo is seeking an Agile Business Analyst for our Alpharetta, GA office. This hybrid Scrum Master/Business Analyst role supports our Agile development teams by running ceremonies, refining and prioritizing the product backlog, and working directly with internal stakeholders and external partners to translate their needs into clear, actionable user stories. You’ll help us deliver innovative, high-performance solutions for the lottery and gaming industry. It’s a hands-on, highly collaborative position, and your experience and ideas will have a direct, immediate impact on our products.

This position is based in Alpharetta and requires daily on-site presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile ceremonies and guide the team on proper use of Agile practices and values.
• Own the product backlog: creating, grooming, prioritizing, and clarifying user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work directly with new clients, lottery stakeholders, and internal partners to gather and refine requirements.
• Distill complex business processes into clean user stories.
• Gather and track Agile team metrics.

What We Want

• 3 years working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar hybrid role.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum, user stories, acceptance criteria, sprints, and backlog management.
• Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams on good practices.
• Comfortable gathering requirements directly from both internal and external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of modern software development, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), and the SDLC.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Bonus Skills

• Professional Scrum Master or Product Owner certification
• Experience with Azure DevOps for backlog planning and work tracking
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices

Education

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
