Litigation Paralegal
Lazega & Johanson LLC is a boutique law firm specializing in the representation of community associations throughout Georgia. We are seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to join our team. Our practice focuses on community association collections litigation.
Responsibilities
The candidate must be detail orientated, self-motivated, organized, and should have significant experience in the following areas:
- Composing, preparing, revising, and finalizing legal documents (including pleadings), and correspondence as directed by the attorney in a high volume practice
- Drafting, formulating, and revising discovery questions and discovery responses, including handling document organization, summaries, and production
- Self-directed and able to identify and manage tasks in a lawsuit and manage caseloads among multiple attorneys
Qualifications, Skills and Expertise Required and/or Desired:
- Familiar with deed records research and using the GSCCCA website
- Skilled in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook experience required. Collection Master a plus
- Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required
