We are looking for an Associate to join the Healthcare Group in the New York office. Healthcare bankers in the New York office work on a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging healthcare services, biopharma and medtech companies. The New York-based team is a key part of Lazard’s global healthcare practice and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for companies across the U.S.

We expect the base salary range for this role to be approximately $185,000 - $250,000 USD. Various factors contribute to determining the actual base compensation offered, including but not limited to the applicant’s years of relevant experience, career tenure, qualifications, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, relevant skills for the role, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Base salary is one component of Lazard Financial Advisory’s compensation package, which also includes comprehensive benefits and may include incentive compensation.

We are looking for an Associate to join the Healthcare Group in the New York office. Healthcare bankers in the New York office work on a variety of strategic transactions for leading and emerging healthcare services, biopharma and medtech companies. The New York-based team is a key part of Lazard’s global healthcare practice and leads the coverage and execution of transactions for companies across the U.S.
We’ll trust you to:
- Perform a variety of financial analyses and create complex models
- Prepare and create client presentations and meeting materials
- Interact with client senior executives
- Manage deal processes
- Conduct research on relevant companies / sectors
- Provide guidance to teammates at the Analyst level
- At least two years of investment banking experience (strong preference for those with M&A deal experience)
- Strong financial modeling skills and quantitative background coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated team player attitude and leadership qualities with a strong motivation to contribute to a positive team culture
- Top academic performance with comfort operating in an unstructured environment which values initiative, creativity, maturity, and poise
- Bachelor’s degree required
