The Day Area Manager for Lincoln, NE supports the Operations Manager and General Manager with a complete oversight for financials and operations of assigned portfolio to ensure 24/7 professional parking management. Principal Job Duties
- Plans, organizes, and supervises parking and event operations, including staff oversight Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Oversees event-related activities, including setup and closure of prepayments, traffic flow control, and delegation of staff for garage ambassador operations.
- Must be flexible to support other Area Managers with special events, rotating shifts, or adjusted schedules.
- Mandatory attendance is required for major events, including all home football games, Girls and Boys State High School Events, select Pinnacle Bank Arena events, and all other major events at Memorial Stadium
- Assists with payroll and scheduling in coordination with the Scheduling Manager.
- Responsible for hiring and training employees on equipment, task procedures, work standards, safety protocols, and proper cash-handling procedures.
- Serves as a safety representative, including coordinating safety training, assisting with safety and cash audits, conducting facility walkthroughs, and recommending improvements.
- Assists in scheduling activities and reviewing schedules prior to shifts, including oversight of work performed by floaters, Command Center staff, and fellow Area Managers.
- Will be asked to perform maintenance walkthroughs weekly to assure cleanliness and safety of the parking facilities.
- Is required to assist with snow and ice removal. In addition looking for problem areas and relaying them to the Maintenance Manager.
- Provides field support as a parking ambassador in entry and exit lanes, delivers customer service support, and assists with parking equipment troubleshooting alongside the internal IT department.
- participates in regular team meetings and ensures compliance with all HR policies and procedures.
- Assists with reporting systems, parking studies, and operational analysis to support decision-making. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned by the Operations Manager or General Manager.
- Coordinates with Maintenance Department during assigned shifts, including check-ins with staff and addressing issues.
- Assist in camera footage lookup for payroll and other operational purposes.
- Strong understanding of parking management operations and procedures; 3–5 years of management experience preferred.
- Knowledge of equipment used in parking system operations.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations, customer service principles, and property management operations.
- Some knowledge of parking enforcement, hotel operations, and property management processes.
- Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports with findings and recommendations.
- Ability to communicate effectively and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.
- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new systems and technology.
- Ability to demonstrate creativity, initiative, and effective problem-solving.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.
- Strong customer service skills and abilities.
- Ability to be approachable and facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers.

- 2 years in Management role.
- Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.
- Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
- Mobility sufficient to work throughout parking facilities, including walking ramps and stairs, and lifting equipment when required.
