• Weekends only (Saturday & Sunday)
• April and May seasonal position
• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• $13.00 per hour

The Spirit of the Position

Join the team that brings the magic of the Scarborough Renaissance Festival to life each spring! We are seeking energetic, dependable Event Staff members to support weekend festival parking operations throughout April and May in Waxahachie, TX.

This is a fast-paced, outdoor role requiring team members to be on their feet and actively moving throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities (Parking Operations)

• Direct incoming vehicles to designated parking areas
• Safely guide drivers into parking spaces using hand signals and clear communication
• Maintain organized traffic flow entering and exiting festival grounds
• Monitor parking lots to ensure safety and accessibility
• Assist guests with locating entrances, exits, and shuttle areas (if applicable)
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to prevent congestion
• Respond calmly and professionally to guest questions or concerns
• Report safety hazards or incidents to management promptly

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and punctual
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable directing traffic and interacting with large crowds
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
• Prior parking, traffic control, or event experience is a plus (but not required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, sun, wind, etc.)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
• High energy and stamina required
