KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely maneuver excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, loaders, and other heavy equipment.
- Operate heavy equipment with precision to dig trenches, grade land, clear debris, and mass excavation.
- Transport and place construction materials on the job site as required.
- Ensure work does not disturb/damage existing utilities.
- Understand project specifications and supervisor instructions to execute work accurately.
- Workplace Safety Awareness: follow all safety regulations, use of proper PPE, and possess a responsible attitude toward safety.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to operate at least one major type of heavy equipment used in excavation/ grading/ site work.
- Minimum 2 years of operating experience on a construction site.
- OSHA 10-Hour Certificate (can be obtained once hired)
- OSHA Trenching and Excavating Certificate (can be obtained once hired)
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong work ethic.
