Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators on construction sites.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with construction teams to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
- Work to complete the job - work with your team to accomplish daily/weekly tasks. Our operators also assist with laboring and work to teach the next gerneration of employees.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators.
- Knowledge in utility installation - underground - storm, sewer & water lines.
- Some mechanical knowledge to identify maintenance needed on equipment.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety regulations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $38.00 per hour
