- Manage general ledger activities, financial reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Lead the period-end and year-end closing activities for our stores
- Assist with franchise and G&A accounting tasks
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify variances and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with operations to ensure accurate reporting and resolve discrepancies
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Assist with audits and ad hoc requests as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and efficiency
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Controller or Operations team
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5 years of experience, preferably in a high volume, multi-unit, or full cycle restaurant accounting environment
- 2 years of senior accounting experience preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and restaurant industry financial practices
- Ability to work independently while supporting accounting team members
- Intermediate Excel and other Microsoft product skills
- Experience with Restaurant 365 is a plus
