- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service to enhance their dining experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food handling and sanitation practices
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cashiering, and sales transactions
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to sanitation guidelines
- Manage cash handling accurately during transactions and reconcile cash at shift end
- Assist in food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café setting, supporting overall restaurant operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurants is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are valued above all
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and sales tracking
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order totals
- Experience in customer service roles within the food industry or retail environment is advantageous
