Title: Senior Project Manager (IT)
Location: Hybrid (remote w/ occasional travel onsite in Oakland, CA)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr Project Manager to lead complex, high-visibility IT projects with multi-year timelines. This role serves as the single point of contact for assigned initiatives, overseeing all phases of project development and implementation while exercising strong judgment and discretion.
The ideal candidate brings deep project management expertise, excels in cross-functional collaboration, and is confident presenting to executive leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery for large-scale, multi-year IT initiatives
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and leadership
- Ensure project objectives are clearly defined, achievable, and aligned with business goals
- Oversee and administer Meter to Cash IT projects
- Partner with engineering teams to develop complex risk assessments, alternative analyses, and conceptual designs
- Drive risk management strategies and proactively resolve project challenges
- Facilitate and resolve conflicts across project teams and stakeholders
- Develop, promote, and implement company-wide project management best practices
- Deliver formal presentations to senior leadership, including executive-level stakeholders
- Mentor and support the development of junior project managers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 9 years of project management experience, including large-scale and complex projects
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering formal presentations to executives
- Must be based in CA
Preferred Qualification
- Experience within utilities or regulated industries
