Position Summary:

The Concrete Foreman oversees all aspects of concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while also managing field operations, supervising crews, and ensuring safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and manage all concrete construction activities on-site.

· Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

· Develop and maintain project schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet deadline.

· Coordinate with managers, engineers, and subcontractors.

· Prepare and maintain project schedules and reports.

· Manage project materials and resources.

· Manage field labor and provide field training.

· Monitor and forecast man/crew hours.

· Schedule trucks, material, and equipment deliveries.

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Valid driver’s license with good driving record; must provide own transportation to shop or work site each day (having your own vehicle Is essential).

· Strength and stamina to perform physical work all day. Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 lbs., push and pull up to 80 lbs., and stand or walk for extended periods of time.

· Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions.

· Awareness of safety procedures and regulations.

· 5 years minimum experience with at least 3 years working as a foreman in concrete management.

· In-depth knowledge of concrete construction processes, materials, tools, and machinery required for high-quality outcomes.

· Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex construction blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

· Strong problem-solving skills with a decisive attitude, crucial for time-sensitive project decisions and conflict resolution.

· Familiarity with construction methods, techniques, and best practices in the field of construction.

· CDL preferred.

· Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.

· Courteous and professional manner with co-workers, customers, public.

· Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes.

· Overtime work required. Out of town/county/state work may be required.
