The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond to incidents as they arise.
Description:
LAWW Security Services is hiring reliable and alert to patrol and monitor commercial, residential, and institutional sites. These professionals help deter incidents and respond to potential security threats.
Duties:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
- Enforce company policies regarding loss prevention and conflict management.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in drills or training sessions.
- Conduct routine patrols and monitor access points
- Report suspicious activity or safety concerns
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
- Ensure compliance with site-specific post orders
- Provide a visible deterrent and safety presence
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess relevant experience in security or law enforcement. Preferred qualifications include:
- (Armed License)
- Must DRIVE
- Night club experience a hug plus
- Valid Drivers License
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 years or older
- Prior security experience required
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Professional conduct and integrity
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Experience with loss prevention strategies.
- A background in military or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory.
