The following duties are representative of performance expectations. A reasonable accommodation may be made to enable a qualified individual with a disability to perform essential functions.
- Assist teacher in the management of student arrival and departure activities.
- Assist with the individual goals of students.
- Support learning experiences that will assist student academic success.
- Assist in the supervision of the students.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain safety and welfare of students.
- Provide one-to-one assistance with academic and/or daily activities.
- Assist in student personal hygiene (may include changing diapers, assist in feeding, dressing or bathroom functions, cleaning face/hands).
- Assist in lifting/transferring.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend/kneel while completing responsibilities listed previously.
- Other duties as assigned.
