What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Janitorial Worker position at Lawson Development and Construction Corp?
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail oriented, and an independent worker. The Seasonal Janitorial Worker will be responsible for removing trash and recycling from trash rooms in buildings to dumpsters. They will contribute to a welcoming environment for our residents by maintaining the cleanliness of our community. This position will report to the General Manager.
Employment Basis: Seasonal (April-August)
Normal working hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm, 20 hours per week
1.) Removing trash and recycling from apartment buildings to dumpsters
2.) Assisting with general cleanliness and tidy appearance of entire community, both inside buildings as well as entrances and surrounding areas outside buildings
3.) Other tasks as requested and assigned
1.) Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, engage in pushing and pulling activities regularly
2.) Ability to speak professionally with customers and fellow team members
3.) Ability to work partially independently without constant supervision or direction
4.) Ability to follow set tasks and routine checklists
5.) Ability to demonstrate initiative and follow-through on assignments
6.) Basic ability for computer usage for accessing, logging, and updating maintenance tickets
1.) Range: $16 to $20 per hour, dependent upon experience and qualifications
2.) No benefits provided for seasonal position
