Lawson Cryogenic Manufacturing & Repair LLC is a leader in the repair and maintenance of cryogenic and industrial gas equipment. Incorporated in 2016, Lawson Cryogenic has grown from one location with three technicians in Baytown, TX to two locations with 35 employees in 2026. The opening of our new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Gretna, NE in 2025 was a key step in Lawson Cryogenic’s growth and commitment to expanding its product offerings.

Due to the company’s continued growth, we are seeking highly dependable and motivated Production Helpers to join our dynamic fabrication and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for general fabrication and manufacturing work in the creation of cryogenic tanker trailers and related pressure vessels.

Duties

• Material Handling: Assisting in the manual handling of tools, equipment and materials, including the assembly of various components per drawings/schematics.
• Operating Machinery: Operating equipment and hand tools to grind, cut and clean materials.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Documenting/recording work performed into work logging system.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, good problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and collaborate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walk, use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment, and speak and listen, both over the phone and in person to customers and fellow employees, in order to perform the above listed duties. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to work in a seated position, climb or balance and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 75-100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
