Concrete Foremen/ Superintendent - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience required
Lawson Construction Company, a heavy civil, 35-year concrete construction company, is looking for experienced Concrete Foremen to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be able to successfully lead and manage a crew of concrete laborers, form setters, and/or finishers for high-quality curb & gutter and concrete paving work. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The candidate should be able to interview in person at our Longmont, Colorado office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Read and follow plans
- Effectively perform daily paperwork functions
- Effectively monitor and achieve fundamental cost, production, and quality objectives
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with established safety guidelines
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and vendors
- Consistently display a focused and supportive approach toward management
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a concrete construction foreman
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and maps
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic mathematics
- Be physically fit to work outdoors for extended periods of time and year-round in a variety of weather conditions
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, including weekends if needed
