Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Front Office Receptionist, where your energy and organizational skills will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. In this vital role, you will create a welcoming environment while efficiently managing front desk operations, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate medical records. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic flow and exceptional patient service, contributing to a positive healthcare experience for all. You will interact with two Chiropractic Doctors helping with patient flow and set up. You will learn insurance billing.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, answer calls promptly, and direct them appropriately using proper phone etiquette.
- Schedule patient appointments accurately
- Collect co pays from patients before their treatment. Be comfortable talking on the phone about out practice, insurance,copays and deductables.
- Verify insurance coverage and benefits, ensuring all documentation aligns with HIPAA regulations.
- Collect and review medical documentation, including CPT coding, ICD-9/10 codes, and care plans to support billing and medical records accuracy.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry
- Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting, preferably as a medical receptionist or front desk clerk.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and insurance verification processes.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems and demonstrate professional phone etiquette.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.

Pay: $24.38 - $29.36 per hour
