Massage Therapist Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs.
• Deliver engaging lectures and facilitate discussions to enhance student understanding of subject matter.
• Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and contribute to departmental goals.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students, helping them navigate their educational journey.
• Stay current with developments in the field of education and integrate new teaching methods as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
• Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and self-care practices.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals in occupational health settings as needed.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients.
• Document treatment sessions accurately in client records for continuity of care.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in massage therapy.
• Valid state certification or license in massage therapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pain management techniques.
• Experience in med spa environments is preferred but not required.
• Excellent patient assessment skills to tailor treatments effectively.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and maintain client relationships.
• Familiarity with various massage techniques, including deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
• Strong communication skills to explain treatment plans and address client concerns.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of massage therapy.
