Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Trailer Parts Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for growing parts sales, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining accurate inventory. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who works well both directly with customers and as part of an internal team, helping to ensure smooth operations between our parts, service, and sales departments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct trailer parts
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information to customers
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory
- Work closely with the service and sales departments to ensure the service department has the parts needed to complete jobs
- Communicate regularly with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, pricing, and availability
- Comply with all company policies and safety procedures
- Expand and strengthen relationships with new and existing customers
- Develop new accounts to grow the customer base
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of parts-related sales or inventory related sales experience
- Experience working with inventory management systems
Required Skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Ability to interpret parts diagrams and manuals
- Basic math, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs unassisted
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be comfortable working in a warehouse/shop atmosphere
Pay: $35,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
