Heavy Equipment Mechanic We have an immediate opening for a full-time experienced mechanic for heavy equipment including rail equipment and spotter trucks. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in diesel engines, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical for field service and shop duties ranging from Preventative Maintenance service to diagnosing and repairing onsite. Work hours are Monday through Friday, first shift. Requirements:Heavy Equipment Mechanic· Ability to be on call after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule· Must be prompt to work.· Ability to read and comprehend service manuals.· Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.· Basic math skills.· The ability to lift and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds.· Computer proficiency.· Strong verbal and written communication skills with both management and customers.· Must be courteous and customer-service oriented.· Must provide own tools.· Valid standard driver’s license.· Must successfully complete a drug screen, background check, a DOT Physical and safety training thru several safety courses.· Must successfully obtain or have a TWIC card.· High school diploma or GED.
